THE WHEELS OF THE FUTURE invites you to imagine a stress-free city, where you feel safe, where you know the local shopkeepers, and where every journey becomes a pleasure. A city where you take the time to smell the trees, listen to the birds, and listen to the laughter of children.

Through the cycling journey of Evan, Maud, Émilie, Augustine and Baptiste, the film shows how cycling can become a driving force for profound transitions.

With testimonies from economists, urban planners, associations, political leaders and sociologists, the documentary explores ways to place cycling at the heart of our cities and the impact this would have on our lives.
